🇺🇸Happy 4th of July🇺🇸

Hello everyone and Happy 4th of July! Contrary to popular belief, today has nothing to do with Will Smith saving us from Aliens. If you’re not familiar with what I’m talking about, this means that you are either really young and not familiar with the movie Independence Day or you hate great movies. (Side note, the second installment of Independence Day sucked) 🤮Anyway, back to my point. On this day in 1776, the greatest country that has and ever will exist was born. It was on July 4th, the Continental Congress formally adopted the Declaration of Independence, which had been written largely by Thomas Jefferson. Though the vote for actual independence took place on July 2nd, from then on the 4th became the day that was celebrated as the birth of American independence. So while a lot of people take time today to drink beer, watch fireworks, hang out on the water. Remember that we are all enjoying today because of people who dared to dream, take a stand for what they believed in, and be willing to lose everything to see that dream become a reality. So today, while you’re enjoying whichever festivities you partake in. Please take a moment to read the greatest document created in all of human history and reflect on why our country is so amazing.
