So, if you’re are thinking about buying a new house, you may be nervous, and the truth is, you 100% Absolutely should be!!
A lot of agents and mortgage lenders are going to tell you the same thing, “talk to a lender”. I take a much different approach, my advice is to have a cup of coffee with me, and learn the entire process A-Z. The reason for this is pretty simple. Buying a house is essentially a competition between YOU, The Seller, and every other buyer looking in the same area you are. This can be pretty daunting, and when minutes matter during a negotiation, the better off you will be to make a sound quick decision once you find your dream home.
This meeting will cost you about an hour of your time, and is an information only meeting that is designed to arm you with everything you need to begin your journey towards home ownership.
If this is you, I get it, you’re busy and maybe we cannot line our schedules up. Even if you live in Northwest Florida, Texas, or Washington State. You deserve to understand what you’re getting into BEFORE you set out on this journey. So in this situation, we have three options:
- Let’s talk on the phone! It’s not my preferred method as I’m sure it’s not yours. I’ll share the presentation with you via Google+ and we will get your plan put together. However, I cannot buy you a cup of coffee.
- I can send you a recording of the presentation and you can watch it at your convenience. We can touch base afterwards and get you moving forward.
- If you don’t live in the St Louis area, I can still offer you the video recording, and a phone call. But I’ll set you up with one of my referral agents in your area. If I don’t have someone in your area who believes in “assisting people” over “selling people”, I’ll reach out to Realtors in your area and interview agents on your behalf. Once I find someone, I’ll introduce you!
Great question, and this type of question should be a theme throughout the entire home buying process. The only thing I will ask of you is that you tell someone who you know that is planning on buying or selling a home about me.
